In news out the other day, the self proclaimed largest crypto exchange in Korea announced they are going to be listing HIVE.
The official announcement can be seen here:

The price of HIVE had a nice little bump on the news as it rallied over $.30 briefly before giving most of the gains back as of today.
This is a good get for HIVE!
Bithumb is the largest (self proclaimed) crypto exchange in Korea.
I am not sure exactly how they measure that data, but that is what they claim.
They routinely do large amounts of volume and are often near the top portion of market pairs.
As you can see below it is already the 8th largest pair for HIVE:

Another good thing about this pair is that it is a fiat pair.
The more fiat gateways in and out of HIVE the easier it will be to bring in more users, at least I would assume so.
That was part of the problem with getting people to invest into STEEM back in the day, you had to jump through a bunch of hoops in order to get STEEM on the platform.
When I started telling people the process I would watch their eyes glaze over and sure enough they would give up.
Can we get HBD listed on more exchanges as well?
I am not sure who is responsible for helping make this listing happen, but an HBD listing on more exchanges would also be very beneficial, especially since we are going to be converting all that HIVE into HBD in the DAO.
Plus there is the very likely scenario where HBD pumps tend to also pull up the price of HIVE.
We saw it time and time again anytime SBD would trade north of a dollar and STEEM would get pulled up as well.
Though I do admit it is probably not the best long term way to pump the price of HIVE.
Anyways, onwards and upwards!
Stay informed my friends.

I believe steem is no more expensive?
Steem is currently trading fractions of a penny higher. It's the first time in months this has happened. HIVE recently hit $.33 while steem was around $.24.
Hive might have some issues of complacency.
They have a HF coming in a few weeks.
Ya, so the witness can make more?
How do you mean?
