It's been two months since I posted anything on Hive, and I got curious again.
Well actually I was inspired to post on Hive by my good friend @baah who is now here posting on Blurt and is doing a lot to raise the quantity of replies on this platform. Which is a good thing, and we can address quality later :)
So I did this post on Hive yesterday just to see what response it got - essentially, nobody gives a shit - the platform is dead as dodo. It will get a second auto downvote on day six, but that's probably about it...

All sorts of insane shit has gone down in the past two months - I wonder if Hive has changed? - LOL...
Probably not, but I like a distraction from time to time...
Man I miss this Peakd front end! The Hive down voting not so much. Wonder if it still goes on?

The biggest problem with HIVE is that it has been left in the hands of a couple of curators/witnesses who, actually under the same name, are the same person.
OCD, acidyo, blocktrades, appreciator monopolize more than 90% of the healing votes, the rest is insignificant.
There are people with multiple accounts that are not penalized, and others with a couple of accounts that are banned.
You have to fall into the grace of these great whales (or are they really all one person?) to be voted.
I remember that when HIVE separated from STEEMIT they argued that Justin Sun wanted to control the platform completely. Actually now they are doing the same thing.
There are super votes for posts of very little value and other interesting posts are not voted.
On the other hand, absurdly control the value of the token by making it rise and fall as you please, obtaining millionaire profits (a year ago it exceeded 3 USD, a true exaggeration. Or rather, pure and simple speculation.
That is what HIVE has become today: a platform for speculation. And unfortunately many Venezuelans and other countries with problems run after them thinking of their economic salvation.
Absolutely everyone else gets downvoted for having like an account for their cat hHa and they can have 20 accounts to farm off. The whole thing makes me sick.
In effect, they have managed to make a great deal for a very few. The only difference with Steemit is that they didn't want to share power with Justin Sun.
But at the end of the day ocd, blocktrades are not that different from the Korean.
Oh yeah lol it was funny watching how angry they got when someone essentially did the same to them as they do to us. Supposedly we are just whining but they are entitled 😎

I guess I am not following you on hive? I still go there. I haven't given up.

I look at Hive about once a month but don't comment because every comment I do is auto downvoted.

I have about 15 accounts on Hive, and stopped using @frot for commenting once I was down to 69 rep - they took two of my other accounts down below zero though.

Yeah I would do that too but the energy was so bad on hive I’m just happier not on it at all. Otherwise I would just post and link back to blurt. I feel that just posting their vampires your energy if your not careful. We should all just start 20 new random accounts there tho and just link back to blurt it’s probably not as bad if it’s just an unknown random account with nothing on but links to blurt.
I was thinking if we can earn through tagging our post with like palnet or posh tags? Though of course the voters must have stake in such tribe tags.
Unless you can hack azircon's account I don't think earning on Hive is a realistic aspiration!
But it is good to know that the price of their token is manipulated.
Anyway I can't stand the toxic environment there, it is like you are trying to relax under the sun, then these drunk bastards pulled your towel from under you and then whacked you with it, then your vacation is over just like that.
