This is what I keep telling others. Staying and fighting is only giving them a draw like a heavyweight boxing match or football game. Folks love their arena battles. Hell, Bernie was caught many years ago faking a flag war with himself (dont remember the other account name). He forgot and slipped up later in transactions and got busted. I have both. I don't understand why Hive or Blurt has value. Except for having influence on how people get rewarded in these tokens on the websites that use it as a backend, and getting HE tokens, and buying web hosting from Privex, who accepts Hive? Hive is super pumping now. I think it's a great time to sell. I sold most of my Hive while Hive before this pump. I sold the last of my Hive this morning. I think there are some who will buy up Hive so they can become flaggers to anyone using the Hive platform as a free-speech platform.
Good news is that, Proof of Brain is a tiny tiny market cap. So, a growth to a pittance of $100,000 market cap would make it 5x. An individual or a group who decides he wants to start prevent the spread of good information, could try to buy up POB in order to make POB like Hive is now. The thing is, with Hive Engine, we don't have to change blockchains and refollow and rediscover each other again. We just switch to a new token.
The bad news is POB has a tiny tiny market cap. Because it does a sale of $1000 of POB would crash the price to the basement right now, and allow those who hate the spread of information come in and turn the reward distribution to mirror exactly what happens on Hive.
Blurt probably has a small marketcap too. The community seems smaller than POB.
I think that Odysee (LBRY) is a free-speech decentralized platform. I admit, it is way more decentralized.
Finally, new centralized free speech platforms popped up last year. Parler.com, Gab.com, and Brigteon.Social. Honestly, these platforms have gained more traction than Hive in less than a year. People aren't using their real names on Blurt. I have to think about what does Gab have that POB doesn't as a feature? And then add that feature.
I need to monetize my front end. I will advertise with some of the revenue and bring more people into POB>
Hive has value because of Splinterlands. Blurt has value since it allows Free Speech.

i'm on gab - what does it have? absolutly no downvoting - no voting at all really - and instant sharing of content - i go on there and repost 10-20 images fast - no comments - just hitting the mouse for repost - its relaxing, fun, and easy - nobody gives a toss about comments

Tempting connection to make but I think they are two distinct ppl. Similarities are in the heavy-handedness but differences are in modes/styles of expressing this + in lang. usage. Also I suspect they are from two distinct cultural b/grounds.

I will keep the hive account just in case but I'm not posting on there any more. I have enough outlets that do not censor, it's just not worth it. I was told using POB would protect from the downvotes but it didn't. they get you somehow or other if they don't like you.

They plan on dumping the blogging aspect onto second layer communitties they will still control but hold no liability for. Then they can sit back and get richer off splinterlands and the communities as governmental landlords.
They have tunnel vision on how rich they are to become and are now to big for their britches as they believe their withdrawal behind the second layers will act as a shield for the things they do now.

However it is a serious problem.
