This time they're fighting with curators. Hive has a timed payout for curation. If you vote within 24 hrs, you get a linear payout based on stake. If you vote after that you get half, with the balance going to early curators. And if you vote in the last two days before payout, you get a quarter.
They're cross that an account bdvoter, votes on Splinterlands posts within 24 hours, which then benefits from a late steemmonsters vote. Apparently this is "unfair" even though both accounts are controlled by the same person, as one of the accounts is selling Hive.
So they're downvoting posts that receive the votes.
The poor authors and other curators are tearing their hair out. They have no control over who curates them, much less control over deals between curators. As one author sadly put it, the only way to stop getting downvotes is to stop producing splinterlands posts.
As Hive gets crazier looking for obscure infractions, is there any way to invite the Splinterlands community here?

the littles are merely collateral damage in wars between the gods. They do think they are doing what is best, but yes, the littles who are harmed will leave or stop posting. Not a good look for hive. Perhaps there is something I don't know about this action though. Doesn't it seem like a wash for the rewards pool? In that case, why do they care?

lol what a f mess
Hive is an utter 💩hole! I predicted years ago, that their downvote button would be the end of Hive and now we are seeing it happen live. It has turned into a melting pot for psychos, narcissists and idiots with large stake. The perfect example of such an idiot is themarkymark. An absolute dimwit, who throws tantrums, as soon as somebody else apart from him gets some honey out of the reward pot. 🍯 I left the Hive about 2 1/2 years ago. Never regretted it, never looked back. 🤙
It's difficult to get people to move to Blurt though. It's not on Binance and people can't see the potential of this little coin.
Our time will come 😉
I think that since things like this are happening, it's enough to remind people on Hive that Blurt exists. Especially in tags like: splinterlands. If downvoters continue their politics in this style, they will come themselves. Splinterlands is not connected to Hive as far as I know when it comes to tokens, but only to Hive engine. So for users it doesn't matter.
You can also find the creator and convince him to allow logging into Splinterlands also using Blurt and buying cards for Blurt. It shouldn't be very difficult.
🥓
Do you know if Splinterlands cards can be bought with Blurt? Is this a trade that happens on hive-engine or tribaldex?
from what I know it's only for hive but I played splinterlands about 4 years ago out of curiosity but I quickly stopped so I don't know how it is now.
Ha ha ha Hive is an absolute Cluster Fuk. Controlled by 2 or 3 very angry and jealous freaks. I get everything downvoted on one of my old meme blogs. It’s hilarious. Anyone can create a new blog for Free on Hive and start again and again and earn way more from layer 2 tokens with hashtags.
