When I went to my "office" I was a bit surprise, it was a bit dirty. Lots of litter around the village hall. They were mostly dust, and plastic glasses scattered on the floor.
I was lucky I was with my wife that she instinctively took a broom which was available in one corner. She began sweeping the floor to gather the litter. Next, she went to the concrete yard, and swept the rubbish there.
Meanwhile, I was preparing "the office". I took some paper and the Balinese traditional calendar. My tasks today was to list all the important dates throughout the year of 2023. Then report it to the traditional village chief (he tolod me would come later that day to the "office:/)
The list I wrote, would become the base of the yearlly planning regarding of, for example, how much resources and fund would be needed for activities on those important dates.
I worked by myself today after my wife left. There were people coming to the hall asking what I was doing. One guy asked if he could pay tax to me which I said no. I was only an admin for the village.
On the midday, I finished working since the village chief could not make it to come to the "office". Then I went to his house to deliver the list. This list I could have just done at home and sent through the internet, but I think the village chief wanted me to familiarize me with my new "office".
