Hello everyone I'd like to share my morning helping my wife to prepare some breakfast. This time I picked some Kayu Manis leaves from the its tree that grows on the house yard.
Kayu Manis has been long used for its herbal benefit in Bali (and in Indonesia). It is very good to help with reducing the body heat because of fever. It is also well known to be used to help in producing mother's milk when breastfeeding. The way to prepare the leaves is by making juice. First, using an electric blender, the leaves and some water is mixed to make the vegetable juice.
I found out from my wife's family, that they also consume these leaves as vegetables. In the beginning, I did not enjoy eating Kayu Manis vegetable soup. Now, after some I began to learn to like it.
