Participating in A Community Work at A Local temple

It's another community work day in the temple at the village where I live. I prepared myself at 7 to go to the temple. It was only a ten minutes ride (slowly) to the temple.

I parked my motorcycle by the side of the road in front of the temple. The temple is called Pura Dalem. There is such temple in every village in Bali. In this temple, the people worship God Siva, one of the Hindu God.

The religious festival was over yesterday. Today, we just needed to clean and packed everything from yesterday festival. We needed to put off the cloth, the banner, from the shrines. We also took the gamelan (a set of Balinese traditional instrumental music) and we brought it back to the other temple where we got them from.

There was also temporary terob tent. We disassembled the tent and put all its pillars and roof on a pick up truck to transport them to where it belongs. We also loaded the gamelan into the pick up truck. The pick up truck had to transport them several times, because we could not load them all at once.

We also swept the inner yard of the temple. I saw some ladies washed the cloth and the banners and they dried them on cloths line. We were all quite busy.

By 9.30 all works were done. I felt hot and tired. And I hurried home.

That's all what I like to share with you all. Nothing fancy, nothing adventurous yet. Thanks/
