Hike along the Beaver Creek, Cedar, Pine, Sumac, Birch and Maple Forest

in hive-196037 •  3 years ago

Here is a short walk from the Beaver pond marsh through a Cedar and Pine grove, Sumac, Poplar, Birch and Maple Forest.

We will be tapping the Maple Trees soon. Not these Maples, they are a little small. But we have some nice mature Sugar Maples that will provide a lot of fresh Maple sap that we will turn to Maple syrup at the Sugar Shack.

Stay tuned for more…

¡Hola!
Hi! I've always envied those snowy landscapes because in Venezuela you don't see them unless you are in a specific state, Merida, and it's not the same experience. I would like to know the snow like that, being able to go for a walk in the forest hand in hand with the nature around me, very relaxing. Although I doubt very much that my pets would be able to go, at least my dog I know would die from the cold. Excellent post as always, very interesting, I send you greetings and hope you are well.

Our Golden Retriever, Lola loves the snow …. She is not a big fan of the summer heat, she much prefers the cold winters with tons of snow. Me too. We had many days of -40 Celsius this winter. I think I could live in the Yukon. We are thinking of moving there actually. I will be a prospector there. Probably in the Klondike.

Gorgeous video! Canadian snow is so pure. Awesome camera work.

Thanks…. The iPhone XR has an awesome built in image stabilizer…. It was not easy holding the camera still when I would fall through about 3’ of deep snow every few feet. I was going to add music over but it’s nice to hear the crunchy snow …
