The Sbandieratori performed in the town square to great applause from the crowd. It was great to see everyone having such a good time.
They come from the Gubbio region of Italy and they visit Huntingdon Cambridgeshire every year.
They are called the Sbandieratori in their native language which translates to 'flag waves'.
Ceremonial dancing - The Gubbio Flag Throwers visit to Huntingdon is always well attended.
This was the visit to Huntingdon on Saturday 24th September 2016 at the invitation of Huntingdon and Godmanchester Twinning Association. (Gubbio is twinned with Huntingdon)
The Gubbio region is largely agricultural and is similar to the Huntingdon region of England which is also largely farmland.
