Why am I called like that you ask? Before I became a shopper bag, I spent about 30 years giving my tenants on the balconies on Heidwiesenstrasse in Schwamendingen, ZH soothing shade on hot summer days. Yep, you heard me right. I am a former sun blind from the 80s (When the world was still a little more relaxed). So really RETRO!

Another fact about me is that despite the intense wash, I haven't lost my ability to repel water and even in the biggest rain, the drops just roll off me. So all my contents stay nice and dry in the wet 🙂 .

Through Attached and the careful handiwork of various Swiss foundations, I have now found another use despite my age and am happy to attach my new owner.

I am one of a kind : Me and my cousins are a small and limited family. Therefore, each Attached Shopper Bag is unique and therefore numbered. Since the handles are made from fabric scraps, slight variations may occur.
