Elon….. ⬆️ (from episode 1443 of No Agenda Podcast)
I see a lot of people around praising Elon and this attempt to buy Twitter. Certainly can’t be worse even if he killed Twitter in my opinion. It’s a centralized wasteland of 50% bots (maybe more). That said this screams of distraction to me. Not that’s Elon’s only playing a role. I know he’s serious but it’s clear they won’t sell so this isn’t going to happen. The cheers for Elon would be better spent cheering Hive or Mastodon. Just my opinion but I’m betting on 6 months from now we aren’t talking about this. Even if Elon is legitimate in the goal it’s obviously not happening. Promote decentralized platforms instead of promoting said person buy and run a centralized one.
