I often wonder how different the scene would of been in the eighties of Joy Division was around. One of the most underrated bands of the post punk era. Success and heavy produced records in the future or would they have broken up after one more and go there separate ways if Ian Curtis hasn’t passed away. The police were a punk band as was U2. Would Joy Division of gone bigger and more polished? Or stay true to Ian’s early pure art or nothing. Perhaps there’s a alternative universe where there huge. Seriously though New Order was it’s own thing. Without Ian we just will never know.
