A pure avant gardé piece, "Scream Your Mental Illness" was Inspired by the
musique concrete of Pierre Henry. I have posted it before as a link, but now I have a video, or at least a gif with the audio over it.
This was pretty emotional for me to put together, I skimmed through recordings of my ex as well as my own 2020 journal entries documenting some of the things she said to me as she left me and slowly fell into a type of madness.
It was emotional, but also cathartic. Before this piece I had never done an avant gardé "composition" before. I found it to be an excellent way to express emotions, from sadness to confusion to anger. It may not be the easiest thing to listen to, but there is a lof of feeling in it.
It is the tenth track on "In My Memory".
