I just watched the vid, but I didn't realize d-tube requires its own currency to perform actions like voting...I don't have any dtc, I'm going to have to remedy that at some point..anyway

You definitely raised a good point. I think especially when people have recently learned to set boundaries, when they feel the power in the word No for the first time they can sometimes go the whole other way before they find a balance. When they're just learning to put their own emotional, mental etc., needs in first position, it can make them forget that others also need to do that for themselves.
