Which is celebrated every year on 28 February across India. Because on this day in 1928 Sir CV Raman discovered the Raman effect. For which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1930 AD. According to this discovery change in the wavelength of light that occurs when a light beam is deflected by molecules. On this day there are many scientific institutions in India which celebrate this day with great pomp through many programs, debates and scientific quizzes.
