Today the whole country is celebrating national deworming day that was started on 2015 by Ministry of Health Family Welfare, Government of India .
Yesterday there was a meeting and training at Block health resource Centre Reusa to raise awareness and prevention of diseases like soil-transmitted helminths in children aged 1 to 14 years. It was an awareness especially for the parents and the kids who is studying in class 1 to 8. With the help of Anganwadi worker and teacher staff albendazol tablet was given to the children. According to word Health organisation almost 24% of world population is infected by soil-transmitted helminth worms. About 100 children were given this medicine in today's campaign.
