When the call comes from the crew to head to the big city and catch a concert, you answer!
Mista D loves many bands and has toured with many of them. Despite this, he loves Fishbone https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fishbone the most. I have heard a couple of songs and seen a video or 2 but hadn’t seen them live yet. This was promising to be very good.
When we arrived at the venue and started stepping toward a restaurant, the coolest thing happened. We ran into the bass player, fans would know as the mighty Norwood. He and D know each other from a tour they played together years ago. Chill dood and a monster bass force.
The four of us rocked a fantastic Japanese meal in Cabbagetown for the big occasion.
Then it was back to the Phoenix concert theatre to hang in the upstairs lounge. Grab a beer and look to my left to find I am sitting beside Angelo. He turns each autograph into a page size custom art piece in typical Angelo flourish.
Not a bad view from the lounge either.
The floor was the place to be though. Different mix, closer connection, and lots of dancing.
Probably the dancing pushed me over the 10k step count on such an epic musical adventure.

It is my solemn advice to check and see if Fishbone is playing near you soon. Then you should go. Thank me in comments later!![]
