The beauty of the moon.

The moon is the most visible sight in the night sky, as well as the brightest, although it does not emit its own light. It truly reflects the light emitted by the sun. Only 7% of the sun's light is reflected. The moon appears to change shape from time to time, but this is merely because the sun illuminates various areas of it. A lunar eclipse occurs when the moon passes through the earth's shadow and the earth is directly between the sun and the full moon. This is when the moon becomes faint and turns a dark copper tint.
