Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Hopefully your day is turning out great, we are on to a new week and the stepping continued unabated. Please keep reading 👓 as I fill you in on how my day has been and also share some of the trending stories I came across. Thank you for being here and let's get cracking 💨.
So just like yesterday, it was an early start brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighborhood 🌲. Then I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going, the weekends are for the politicians. The mask mandates are gone and people walking around maskless.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, the war is taking its toll, Mariupol mayor says upto two thousands civilians are dead😢. An American journalist also reportedly killed. Today Russia attacked a base just 20km from the Polish border😱. Elsewhere in Russia more than 750 anti war protesters were arrested in the big cities.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still sideways at 39k , let's keep watching it as we enter the new week. As always keep hodling and buying the dip 💯.
Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries, walked around a while before heading back home 🏡.
Next came the usual nap 💤 dreaming off until sometime early evening. I then continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Also trending, Iranian revolutionary guards have fired 12 missiles into Erbil, Iraq targeting the US consulate in the area 😱. In other news, Russia counts on sanctions help from China as US warns Beijing against this. Elsewhere in Italy, the Pope has spoken out against the on going war and called for an end to it.
Anyways, as the evening set in I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. Slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
