Today with @vesytz decided to visit Rusocastron Fortress, because we heard that the archeologists excavated new parts that were buried before. We took our car this time (usually we go there with our bike), because it was very cold / The fortress is near the village Rusocastro with is about 40 km from our city Burgas. We park the car in the foothills and went by foot to the fortress.
Everywhere we saw rocks overgrown with nice fresh green moss, so nice gaze for the eye Then we climb the path to the plateau and the first thing that appears is the chapel and on the opposite side is the fortress ruins.
It looks like 3 years ago when we visited for the last time with only one covered section that was not available maybe they found some hall as I saw from the little holes. We walk around there were some places covered with plastic nothing new but it's always a pleasure to visit this place.
Then I saw some arranged recently stones as a small Stonehenge very cute for kids :).
After that, we took the title narrow path on the opposite part west I think to visit the Ruskina hole cave. This is the last landmark in the area. And there was still water dripping from the walls. another awesome place full of green moss.
That was the walk then we go back home.
