I woke up pretty early this morning and decided to have oatmeal for breakfast. I love oatmeal because it is a very filling breakfast and it doesn’t take too long to make. My favorite way to eat oatmeal is with some honey, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. It tastes so good and is definitely one of my favorite breakfast foods.
After breakfast, I decided to go for a run. Running has become really important to me because it helps me stay fit and healthy. It also gives me some much needed exercise. I ran around the block for about 30 minutes and felt so good afterwards! I’m definitely feeling my best today.
I usually try to get a lot of my work done before lunch, so that I can relax and enjoy my meal. But sometimes things happen and I have to work a little bit longer. Today was one of those days. I started off by getting some work done on my computer. I had scheduled some Zoom meetings this afternoon, but I was able to get most of them done beforehand. After finishing up with my computer, I moved onto the other tasks on my list. I was able to get all of those completed as well, which gave me a little more time for lunch.
I decided to go out for sushi since it's been awhile since I've last eaten any. It was delicious! The atmosphere was great too - perfect for lunchtime relaxation. I ordered the omakase ( Chef's choice ), which is a selection of nigiri and sashimi. The sushi was fresh, colorful, and delicious - perfect for a sunny day like today. I especially enjoyed the tuna tartare and the salmon skin roll. The only downside was that the restaurant was quite busy, so our seats were a bit cramped. After eating, I took a walk back home and finished up some paperwork.
