I think the original account owner probably got phished and was using the same keys on Steem, Hive, and Blurt.
This is one of the main reasons why I recommend that everyone uses different keys for each chain. If you're using the same keys on all three platforms and your keys get compromised on one chain, they get compromised on all three.
