Braving through a one mile walk on one of the LARGEST mall in Kuala Lumpur!

When you live in a place where nature is not the closest to you, the next best thing would be mega malls, especially one of the LARGEST malls in the capital city 🤣

I got the opportunity to max as much as I can after work simply because it's already around the corner and we still have not prepped for my parents' 52nd wedding anniversary.

Not to mention mom and dad haven't got anything decent to wear for MANY years.

Thus, the hunt for the ultimate make over for them has begun!

I can say, hunting for a guys shirt that is decent, and good material (easy ironing) is not easy these days! Mom used to be the one who does all the fashion decisions for dad but since she is still recovering from covid and to ask an over 70 year old mom to walk a mile with me doesn't sound fair.

So I become her arms and legs , while she makes the decision.

Thanks to the technology of Video Calls and affordable Internet!

Finally after almost 1.5 hours of searching, we finally found the best buy with a decent price that didn't burn a hole in my wallet, and it was truly decent and was a perfect fit for dad!

While on the way back, I stumbled across a buy 1 free 1 deal that was perfect for mom!

Fresh water REAL pearls!

Usually if it is salt water it would have cost a bomb, and that would have been so hard.

Pearls usually signify elegance, though my mom's birth stone is diamonds I didn't want to get some faux / sub standard ones.

At least it looks less empty until I can afford to get a decent cross for her to celebrate her baptism later.

In the mean time, I got my steps covered, and I have a happy pair of parents!
