This is the only photo I took from our walk today. My brother had been wanting to come with me for a walk but it was only now that we did so I rather spent walking and sharing stories with him.
What I will share are photos I took last Monday's walk.
Wild flowers are blooming along the road but I don't know the names of them. These were just some of them.
We decided to walk to the former Japanese trail where a road has been constructed. This connects to the other side of the mountain cutting the travel time in more than half. The road is only half finished though.
There is a tree along the road that grew in an unusual way.
This stone looked like an egg. It reminds me of the rocks that formed like eggs at Mt. Yangbew just across the valley.
It's not noticeable in the photo but this rock has some shining gold-like veins in it. When we were kids we like to think that they were indeed gold.
This portion of the road collapsed. I'm not sure what caused it whether from earthquakes that we have had recently or from the storms or both.
So there goes my walk for today.
Come and join #WednesdayWalk which is hosted by @tattoodjay.
