At last the beautiful weather has arrived! After a long, cold winter, a wet, blustery April, and a stormy early May, we are having some stunning, perfect days where you just want to be outdoors non-stop!
Yesterday I spent the day cleaning my deck and chairs, putting out potted flowers, and preparing for a backyard party. It was wonderful. There is nothing like enjoying time with friends outdoors on a beautiful spring evening!
When night fell, the temperature was still comfortable, but I got some light throw blankets so no one would feel chilled. We stayed out until 11:30. Everyone was so happy to be out, enjoying friends, wine, and beautiful weather!
