This has been a very busy weekend of working around the house, cleaning out gardens, and preparing for spring. I’ve also had a major home project for the last month, remodeling a portion of the house, and now we are cleaning up construction debris, and putting things back in place.
In the process, I decided that our furniture no longer matches and so I am refinishing some pieces with a new stain color so they harmonize better. All this has led to plenty of movement and steps!
Here’s my refinishing project in action. When I am done, both pieces of furniture will be “espresso” color, or as I jokingly said to my husband, “coffee stain.”
It was threatening rain so I had to move to the garage. As you can see, one piece of furniture is done in this picture.
And here’s the remodeled space where they will go.
Home ownership is a constant job. One must be constantly cleaning, repairing, gardening, painting, etc!
