Sometimes to head out for a walk, I simply go out from front door and stroll the neighborhoods near me, even though there are no sidewalks and the area really is not designed for walking.
It was a beautiful time of day, but quite chilly. I was eating a warm coat, a hat, and a hood pulled up over my hat for extra protection from the wind, as well as gloves. Winter is taking its sweet time going away!
I like taking pictures like this straight into the sun sometimes. It creates an interesting effect when you block the sun with a tree.
Or a cloud!
But it really was not quite as dark as it seems from those pictures.
I stopped by the local park and there were some kids playing basketball wearing stocking caps!
I really like these little free libraries. Does anyone really use them?
I stopped for a moment to watch a small flock of robins. I hope they don’t regret returning so soon. After this walk, the temperature dropped and a fierce wind started up and it snowed for hours.
One last picture of a gold-lined cloud!
Thank you for visiting!
