Late March and must of April are a few of my most dreaded times in Minnesota because the snow is mostly gone and the spring weather has not yet come.
This evening I took a walk around my neighborhood and just marveled at the monochromatic landscape.
It was above freezing, but with a chill wind, so I was huddled into myself. Here’s a picture of the pond in the middle of my neighborhood, still frozen solid.
It will all start to thaw and warm up in a few weeks. I can see a few little green shoots emerging from the ground, and the birds are coming back! Before too long, I will take this same walk and the road will be lined with an explosion of budding and flowering trees!
Oh look, here’s some green! Ha ha. These dumpster bags are in my driveway because we are doing a basement remodel.
Thank you for visiting!
