I suited up for the cold and dashed out to the lake for a sunset walk. Even though I missed the sunset itself, I knew it would be bright enough for pictures with that vast expanse of frozen, snow-covered lake.
I decided to do a photo-journalism study of the docks. Aren’t they stunning? I found them to be so elegant and serene. And the light was amazing — an eerie blend of end-of-day with the moon and the occasional plane in the sky.
And then the dock lights came on, and it was a whole different experience!
