Cedric Soares has not been in Mikels's plans of late with Tomiyasi and Ben White ahead of him in the pecking order in his preferred role. Cedric has made only two appearances for Arsenal this season, both as a substitute; and game time is looking like it won't be coming around bar a lot of injuries to the squad.
The 31-year-old, who joined from Southampton in January 2020 on an initial six-month loan, sees his Arsenal deal run out in 2024 and with 2 years left do you really want to waste your time sitting on the bench.

He came in at a time when we needed a full back and provided good cover as a free transfer but things have changed since then and since he came in on a free, we should be open to accepting pretty much any bid for him.
He is represented by Kia Joorabchian, who also helped bring Willian to Fulham in the summer so the deal looks like it would be an open and shut case.
And even in the unlikely event that both Tomiyasi and White are out, we still have Norton-Cuffy who is itching to get into the first team.
I do wish Cedric well, he has been a great professional for the club and I think he deserves to find a club where he can play regularly.
