Jesus left city because he wanted to play upfront and prove himself as a striker, playing wider saw him get goals but he wasn't getting into positions where he could really take advantage of his finishing ability, and that sort of annoyed Pep too. City then opted to bring in Haaland who only knows where the goal is and doesn't mess about and Arsenal thought to bring in Jesus because they didn't have anyone to play up top.
Jesus started like a house on fire, but has since dropped his form in front of the goal with no goals in 7 games and questions are being asked about his ability to lead the line. The problem with Jesus is when he gets frustrated he comes deep to get a touch on the ball to feel he should be contributing instead of hanging around and looking to find space to receive the ball or pull out defenders.
He does a lot of hard work and creates space for others to score, but that means he doesn't get to score as much and as a striker that's what you want to be doing. He is really unselfish as you can see from the 2 assists he set up yesterday, and shows he is still contributing, so what's the big deal?

The big deal is strikers need goals to maintain form, and there are going to be games were chances are few and you only get that one half chance that needs to be put away so you need to be sharp, there are going to be games where the assist isn't on or the right option and Jesus will need to have the confidence to finish and decide when to do so.
Last night we saw him hesitate to pull the trigger twice and it cost him goal-scoring opportunities, if you are going to score you need to be ruthless and instinctive. While we do have Nketiah and Balgon on loan as options to Jesus, you still want to see the man you spent 40+ million on bang them in regularly.
Its not to say he needs to score 1 a game, but spells of 7 without a goal isn't exactly how you maintain a title challenge. Arsenal are luckly they have goal scorers across the pitch to play of Jesus and perhaps that's why it doesn't seem like such a big issue.
