The Excitement
Do you remember how exciting it used to be when you were a child to have your best friends sleep over at your house and stay up well into the night with the giggles, your mother and father shushing you and telling you to be quiet, to go to bed?
Over the years, my children have developed the tradition of cracking open these glow in the dark bracelets with their friends and jumping all over the beds in a pitch black room. They go wild with it and wear themselves right out. So in addition to getting some pretty cool photo opportunities out of it, my wife and I don’t have to worry about shushing them over and over again and getting angry because they’re too wound up to fall asleep.
I call that a parenting win.
