My Actifit Report Card: October 21 2022

I had a nice morning and an even better day. I introduced a new favorite recipe to my folks. They didn't like that particular combination, but a proper lunch improved their estimation. The weather is changing again. The rest of the day we spent doing our hobbies and enjoying entertaining activities.

Himalayan salt

I made an addition of Himalayan salt to our diet, which is a very important thing and it sets perfectly with my fish rich diet. I really love all the recipes.

Himalayan salt has one of the best mineral compositions benevolent to human diet, but lacks iodium which you can easily get from fish, crabs and many other things.

Salt, in general

The first issue with salt, is dosage, and second, do you even measure it?

The ideal situation is around 5000mg of salt daily containing about 2300mg of sodium which is needed for PROPER body functioning.

Issues with UNDERCONSUMPTION of salt

Without proper sodium intake, our heart and an entire muscle collection will start glitching due to imbalance, and the bones will slowly deteriorate trough long time periods.

The biggest misinformation about Calcium supply comes from the dairy industry. Milk is sold for money, not for health benefit.

Milk and cheese contain very little we need, besides probably having a fun food experience.

Calcium supplements WITHOUT everything else will cause a huge imbalance in your body and you will just lose money and time. And probably even worsen your health. Calcium is NOT the only mineral our bones and body need, it is just one of over 100 of them.

You need salt and green leafy vegetables. If you ask me for meat, we are predominately omnivores, but yes, the carnivore diet can also supply you. Vegans and vegetarians are in the endangered group, because that sort of a food unlike one made of animals is not sodium rich - but it is easier to track.

Lack of sodium causes multiple issues - pains, exhaustion, nausea, vomiting, biliar collics, palpitation, confusion, convulsions, and in some cases hypotonic dehydration, and if unrecognized, this condition can lead to coma and death due to brain swelling.
In many cases, due to symptoms, it can easily be confused with a panic attack or even completely neglected leading to very serious complications.

Issues with OVERCONSUMPTION of salt

Overconsumption includes huge amounts of salt and usually damage caused is due to an imbalanced faulty diet and a bad lifestyle. These are people who don't care what they eat, how and when, in average and usually oversaturate their diet with many things they should not.
We essentially lack it as we can not produce sodium. The other things are a thing of a balance.

IF YOU HAVE damaged kidneys, your tests and specialists will tell you how much salt you need and supply you with therapy.

Salt is very important with it we will not grow properly. Too much salt can hurt kidney, heart and brain.

☣️Not GROW, you can't LIVE without minerals.

We run on electrolytes. And sodium is not a salt. SALT is a complex mixture of various things, and sodium is just one part of it. SODIUM sufficient to run your machine ACTIVELY is around 2000 mg daily more or less, depending on body mass. So, you will either find this in green vegetables or in kitchen salt directly ( 2.3g sodium is in 5g of salt approximately), or you will end up having major issues with your body and brain.

I was writing 'without it'. You are correct.
