It was back to a fairly normal day for me on Thursday. All week, I've had to scrape the ice off of the bus before I can start my first shift, but today, the task was harder than normal. I think we must have had a partial thaw on Wednesday evening, which caused drips to run down the windows overnight. These had frozen solid by the time I arrived to clear the windows, which made the task a lot harder than normal.
After the first shift, I went for a walk, which I started through the local woods. It won't be long until this area is carpeted with spring flowers as there are already signs of some shoots appearing, as you can see in my picture. It will mostly be wild garlic in this area.
As ever, thank you for reading, and I'll be back tomorrow.
