No new photos taken today, so enjoy this one taken on a walk a couple of days ago.
The first Saturday of the new year and, of course, I was playing hockey. The game wasn't due to start until 3 p.m., so I had plenty of time in the morning to go for a little coin hunting walk.
As we started our hockey match, the heavens opened, and we were all completely soaked within the first couple of minutes. We started well and were the dominant team for the first 10 minutes until a slightly lifted ball hit one of the opposition players on the side of the kneecap. He was lying on the ground for a good 10 minutes in agony before he was finally able to be helped off the pitch. I don't envy him for the long wait he will have in the hospital.
After the restart, our game went to pieces, and we ended up losing 1 - 5. Our season continues to disappoint.
In the evening we went to the local comedy club with some friends followed by a few drinks in the pub.
