Thursday.
Feels kind of unfamiliar to post my proof-of-actifitivity for today.
No more rain today, but plenty of clouds and very limited sunshine. Body and mind seem to remember some long lost ancient instinct of wanting to hibernate.
I took a short walk out along the fields in the morning when I noticed something next to this tractor trailer.
A couple of days ago I showed you a small puffball mushroom. Today we're looking at a "giant puffball". Same genus, different species.
The calvatia gigantea can grow to impressive pumpkin level sizes of half a meter or up to two foot. This one is basically just a baby.
Thanks for your time!
