My Actifitivity: September 9 2022

 

Friday.

Just in time for "yesterday" again. I keep trying to write these posts earlier but it always falls behind.

The weather has been turning to the rainier side and the temperatures are down to requiring proper pants and a light jacket occasionally. I am so not looking forward to winter.

 

 

@isnogud came over for a nice afternoon walk into the rainy forest. I showed him the new spot at the hidden lake and found some pretty mushrooms along the way.

 

 

With the early autumn rain comes the big fungi bloom. There's probably going to be a lot more of those while the temperatures are still mild and the rain more frequent.

 

 

Some early bloomers like this old chicken-of-the-woods however are already done for.

 

 

With the added water, there's not going to be anything left for next #FungiFriday. This might be the last time it's possible to distinguish where the mushroom ends and the tree stump starts... or is it the other way around?!?
