My Actifitivity: September 2 2022

 

Friday.

That was yesterday.

Not much to say about that day. Cloudy weather and falling temperatures.

I didn't take any pictures throughout the day but I did capture the starry sky at night to have at least something to show for this report.

But it's a Friday report and I had promised to keep the updates rolling until the chicken-of-the-woods fungus is gone. So here's some Saturday morning #FungiFriday pictures to keep up with that.

 

 

From afar it looks like nothing much has changed, but as you get closer the decay is very much noticeable.

There's tunnels of different sizes, probably from different critters, dug throughout and the whole thing is quite literally falling apart.

 

 

There's even some mold growing on the mushroom now. A fungus on a fungus. Fungiception.

Most of those black dots aren't tunnels, it's actually tons of tiny moldy spots.

 

 

How many more of these updates will there be before there's nothing left... maybe two or three?!

I only remembered to take these shots late on Friday night when I took a last minute picture of that starry sky for that day. But I already told you all that.
