Friday.
Four days ago. The time-machine journey continues.
This time I have a better recollection and I took some pictures, too.
It was a cloudy and humid day. Hazel finished work early and we got to spend the afternoon together. We were walking along the outskirts of the village when it suddenly started raining heavily and we had to take shelter under a small oak tree.
As the rain passed the sun came back out and with it, more humidity... ugh. At least it's not burning in the forest anymore.
Since this is Friday's report, I'll of course also have to give you a quick #FungiFriday update on the decaying chicken-of-the-woods.
I guess there won't be too many more of these updates and we can look for some fresh fungi again, soon. This one is slowly withering away, all cracked up and decomposting.
I'll take my time-machine onwards to Sunday so we can talk about Saturday next.
