Sunday.
Finally posting a "today" report again.
It's still hot and sunny and the forest is still on fire.
The roads into the forest have been blocked off and there's firetrucks passing through the village by the dozens.
The news say the fire is under control but it might also still spread into the old military compound out there where there might still be old ammunition buried in the ground.
Towards the evening the wind turned and the smell of burnt wood is covering the village now.
I still managed to take a nice afternoon walk out to one of the smaller lakes at the outskirts of the village this afternoon.
The weather forecast says there's a good chance of some rain tomorrow. That could definitely help right now!
