I am writing a "yesterday" report.
The sun came back but the temperatures were still pleasantly below 30.
In the early afternoon I drove up into the big city to visit hazel for a while. We hung out and took a walk through the city streets to catch some pokemon.
It was a nice afternoon, but when I wanted to drive back for dinner my car did the thing again. Well, this time I can't just blame the car, because I did a thing, too.
Since the hot summer temperatures are somehow mysteriously messing with the engine electronics I built a little override that lets me keep the engine bay ventilation running manually after stopping the car.
Well, that works surprisingly well with allowing me to start the car again, even on a hot day... but if you forget to switch that off... it does drain the battery...
d'Oh!
Oh well. It was too late to wait another hour for the road assistance service and so I had to just quickly jump on the next train, which was totally overcrowded, to make it back, late but juuust in time.
