Sunday.
And what a sunny day it was. T-shirt and shorts. That kind of sunny. It almost felt like summer!
In the morning I tried to introduce Hazel to my new corvid friend but he didn't dare to come close while I wasn't alone. I guess, if he doesn't see the friends of his friend as his friends, we're not really friends yet?!
It's ok. I have patience.
To follow up with @mipiano, I took another picture and did some more research on the underground dwelling "sand-bees" I saw the other day. Funnily enough, literally translated from German it is actually really called a "sand-bee", but in English they're called "mining bees". More precisely, it's a so-called "grey-backed mining bee". There's a bunch of willow trees nearby, which is their favourite food, so I'm pretty sure I was able to identify the exact species right.
The switch to daylight-savings feels particularly hard on my biorhythm this season, but I sure appreciate the delayed onset of dusk.
Thanks for your time!
