Perhaps once in your life, the word pantomime might be mentioned. A pantomime is often thought to be a British form of theatrical entertainment that typically entertains a younger audience.

What you might find interesting is that the origins of the pantomime comes from the Roman Empire where various gestures and music would be used to entertain.
