History can be thought as a collection of stories that are formed on clues, or at least a collection of the sort.
History always relates to the past and we will often see written or oral accounts that align with certain clues or artefacts of the past.
History is what the present makes it but it does not necessarily mean this is all fact, it is a simply a connection made through interpretation.
