I'm planting an idea that could use a lot of refining from the general public, one of the issues at the moment is that NATO cannot really step in without risking WW3 (World War 3), any country that steps in will become Putin's next target.
In light of this, we need to decouple defensive actions from the ownership and control of any specific country or group of countries to reduce the possibility of targeted backlash.
Blockchain and crypto is all about global decentralisation and governance without borders, as such a DAO can be created and funded by donations, tokenisation and NFT offerings, complete with DeFi incentives and community treasury governance. Gamification and immortalisation of heroes as NFT would provide further catalysts of adoption.
The DAO would then contract private military contractors, war veterans, and militias to come to the aid of countries that cannot join NATO due to close proximity to behemoth countries holding them back doing so, nor able to get NATO support due to non-membership.
A private task force can move freely and swiftly without requiring copious meetings and can operate outside of the ambit of specific country diplomatic restrictions. Comic book heroes such as the Avengers are able to go where governments cannot, due to foreign policy restrictions, such a task force would have greater freedom to act.
We can see now that NATO has limitations and the free world is at risk as a result.
I have no military experience or contacts, so it is difficult for me to take this idea further, other than provide strategic advice and ideation. I welcome further discussion and this idea being taken forward by professionals in the security industry.

Private soldiers are people too and they are capable of standing behind noble causes.
Exactly! So let's think this through. You're seeking to fund a (very small) merc group to go fight against another merc group who are (most likely) paid by the same contractor (as not many around) who is paid ultimately by the banksters you seek to somehow stop being warpigs.
So, how is that gonna pan out?
Only this time I know there is a private army. Previously I only knew the state army was prepared by the state. Maybe this is an alternative in supporting peace or vice versa.

Correct! All of us who still have concerns must immediately do something. The arrogance of power must not be tolerated and we must fight it.
The idea is good. We need to help innocent people from the cruel dictators. It is really sad to see what's going on and we can't do anything.
A DAO with the aim to help people is a good idea. But it will take a lot of international political and non-political support to make some noise.
I would say political support is not necessary as we don't want any particular country linked to the decentralised action, however, support in the way of simply staying out of the way and not creating any roadblocks would be great. Non-political support is what we want, right now I don't feel the future of our children is safe, I feel compelled to do something.

I am concerned, since I have a some coin holdings in a couple of exchanges.
I don't have military experience too but I can say the idea of hiring private task force/military companies to participate in this crisis is a brilliant idea and I'm pretty sure it's already being considered by the key people involved.
I understand the services of private contractors are used around the world. But there is a UN convention banning the use of mercenaries, though US and UK are not signatories to it. This has not stopped countries from employing the services of private contractors. Of course, they would have to deliberate on how effective it would be, the means of securing the strategy and whether or not the benefits would outweigh the costs.

China may back Russia, but it would be ecomic death for them if they do, they might bide their time for another opportunity of world dominance when the world is weak again, they may remain neutral for now.
I have watched plenty of videos these past day and it looks like putin is destroying some underground very private labs and God knows what else in Ukraine owned by Russia because he never wanted to let go off Ukraine , now he must to so he has to remove evidences of whatever those spots were used for and whatever they were holding there .

Idea is very good. We need to provide help annocent people who can not do anything due to lack of knowledge about it. The idea is vague because it is an initial discussion post for further refinement and comment, but basically the main idea is to have a decentralised NATO with individual governance rather than countries being the governance bodies.

what do you mean by private army such as mass organizations or organizations that support the country?
this is an interesting concept. I mean I absolutely hate war and am pretty anti war but then unfortunately it exists and so people have to defend themselves. I think really Russia need to step in and stop their own leader really at this point. That is the most peaceful solution.
