My Introduction Post On Blurt by @zzzinnn

Hello everyone!

I am Maazin by name but you can just call me zzzinnn (/zin/). I feel very lucky to be here, as per my understanding, this is an epitome of a blockchain use case; a decentralized application.

I am a blockchain enthusiast, that’s is to say I take the least opportunity I get to learn anything I can about blockchain. Not only that, I also do my best to pass on the information through organizing, attending and contributing to seminars/discussions.

Blockchain is the future of the tech world.
I know I know. I know you’re probably saying, ugh cliché! But hear me out, we all know an expression is only cliché because it has been repeated annoyingly many times. But personally, I see it as just another form of expressing emphasis. Repetition!

I was born and bred in the capital city of the Northern region of Ghana. Did all my schooling in the region; from day nursery to senior high school (grade 0 to grade 12). I’m currently studying for bachelors degree in computer science in the Upper East region of the Ghana. Oh yeah I had to leave home a bit. I need to toughen up.

My first experience with cryptocurrency was in 2019. Oh no don’t get your hopes up! I will disappoint you.
Yeah that was when the almighty BTC was around 9k-13k. I live to regret this day. I’d asked someone to teach me how to do something in the dark web and the person demanded I pay in BTC. The only understanding I got about BTC then was that hackers transact in BTC in order to protect their identity. Myself I was feeling all techie-geeky-hacker vibes, so quickly I was guided to Paxful P2P and I bought the BTC, but it wasn’t enough to do the job so I sold it a few days later. As I said I live to regret this day.
That was all I knew about BTC. I didn’t know what cryptocurrency or blockchain was. I hate myself knowing what I know now about crypto. Had I known is always at last, ain’t it ?

Blurt will help me learn how to write better, meet new friends, and learn more about new technologies.
