There is a class of demons called the rulers of darkness.
TheIr dominion exist in the absence of light.
The gates of hell is a similitude of a gateway to darkness.
The cure to the horns are the capenters as the cure to darkness is light.
Untill the knowledge of the glory of God covers the earth as the waters cover the sea darkness will keep ruling. The antidote to the gross darkness in our generation is the rise of sons who received light as stated in Isaiah chapter 60.
Scripture said "The light shines in darkness and the darkness comprehend it not"
It's normal for darkness not to understand light, however light won't stop shining.
It's natural for the world to argue the gospel you believe and share with their logic.
You know when Jesus said the gates of hell shall not prevail what he implied is that there must be resistance from darkness but they won't prevail.
To quit shining because the darkness is thick is a proof that you never had light.
But more important to shining, you should share light to people to shine as you and with you.

If you alone shine in a environment then your resistance will be much.
Even physically, if you alone have electricity in your immediate environment then be certain of disturbance at your gate. One day you may switch of your light.
The reason the enemy had the opportunity to sow weeds among the wheat is because the husbandman slept. When we relent from shining corruption will definitely creep in.
There's assurance of Resistance on our path with God but our joy is that we are certain that He who we work for also walk with us. Emmanuel! God with us.
Mostly, resistance is a sign that you are in a right direction, the way that leads to destruction is always broad without resistance but inevitably will lead to destruction, realizing where the path without initial resistance leads to at the end will only leave men with regrets.
Don't be scared at the thickness of darkness. Approach darkness with boldness by faith. You are light.
Be loud about the gospel. The value of light is in darkness. Shine in that dark environment.
