According to the Reports obtained from the autopsy conducted ,The Kenyan marathon runner Kelvin Kiptum died because of a bad head injury from a car accident. This sad event happened close to his home in Kenya and also took the life of his coach, Gervais Hakizimana. Kiptum had just set a world record in the Chicago Marathon not long before this. He was planning to try a new record in the Rotterdam marathon. The president and some other notable individuals will attend His funeral.
Also, somewhere else in kenya,police caught four of their own officers after finding out they were involved in human trafficking. They found 37 people from Ethiopia in a house who were being smuggled, probably trying to get to South Africa for a better life. The police are currently looking for everyone else who played a part in this crime. This shows that human trafficking is a very big problem in the country and what people will do to try and live better. Kenya is often used as a way for people from Ethiopia to get to South Africa without permission. The UN says these people usually start their journey at the border in Moyale, then go through Tanzania to get to South Africa.
