Acts 2:44-47.

And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

The effect of fellowship cannot be over emphasized because it plays a major role in our love walk with God. As a believer you must see to it that you cultivate an atmosphere that is made up of people whose aim and goal is to attain the fullness of the stature of Christ. The need for fellowship is very important even amidst Christian of like mind. And these goes beyond preaching, teaching, studying, etc. It must also be based on a heart felt concern for every believer irrespective of their level of growth. We must go extra mile to see how our brothers and sisters in Christ are doing. For a fellowship to be effective, there must be an avenue for the sharing of burdens. This was the early practice of the Church. They ensured that as much as they grow together spiritually, they see to it that none lacks physically too. This brought about joy and gladness. Many saw this set of people, and we're so much filled with enthusiasm that they also were added to the Church.

Hebrews 10:25.
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Christian fellowship must include the concern of the brethren. Spiritual, physical, emotional and psychological issues should be treated with uttermost concern. When there is a true fellowship amidst the brethren, the strength and the weakness of every brethren will be understood without being sentimental or judgemental. Believers must be there for each other through tick and thin without any selfish reason or interior motive.

The Church must be a safe place for every believer or brethren where needs are met as well as provision being made for everyone within the confinement of the Church in accordance to the will of God.
