Healthy living 2nd November

It's a new month and now we have new targets at work and fresh expectations.

Last month was not too good for me. I was busy but I wasn't productive enough. I had one bad deal and it caused some issues so I kind of gave up on that project.

In November I want o be more productive. The planting season is almost over here in India so I'll have less customers now and maybe I'll focus more on Blurt.

I have made plans to focus more on what I eat as I can't eat anything with sugar and honestly I ate some sweets several times in October. It didn't effect my blood sugar much but I broke my regular diet where I abstain from sugar and eat healthy foods.

When I get busy I forget to focus on my diet and I end up just to fill my stomach and eat wherever is easily available as I have to handle work.

Is it safe to go on a 7 day water fast where you don't eat and only drink water?

I am watching this video and it came as a surprise to see someone even trying this. It can be dangerous and can hurt your body.

When I was young I once went on a fast for 3 days where I didn't eat anything. Maybe I ate a sandwich or something in between but nothing more than that. At the end of day 3 I was exhausted and hungry and I really needed to eat.

Looking back it was a bad thing to do. It didn't hurt my body but when I broke my fast and started eating I ate more than what I would usually eat and probably gained back most of the weight that I had lost.

I think the rules and regulations of fasting which Islam gave us in the form of rozas are the best way to fast and cut down our fat and boost our spirituality. Other than that I feel all these intermittent fasting, water fasting and standing, sitting challanges are all failures.

Yes, the Islamic fast is the best as we don't starve ourselves for days and we eat before sunrise and after sunset.

One important thing that we forget to learn from fasting is that we need to eat soon after sunset. In many cultures they don't eat after sunset. Whereas many in India eat late and sleep much later which is in fact making India the diabetes capital of the world.

that is good, I wish I could be keeping track on my health status, can you show me how?

I use the MI Smartband that I wear when I go to bed and by morning it records my sleep time and other things.
